Update 2/22/13

The schedule for the UVU Winter Dancesport Festival this weekend has been updated. Several events have been closed to further entries. These include:

• Pre-Champ Smooth
• Amateur Latin
• Junior Open Ballroom
• College Bronze Cha Cha
• College Bronze Samba
• College Silver Rumba
• Elemetnary Syllabus Latin

Also, the organizers would like to call your attention to this note about Youth Pre-Champ Ballroom:

All Couples dancing in the Youth Pre-Championship Ballroom event please notice the start time for your event (Quarter-final) is on Saturday at the end of Session 2 and then continues into the Semi-final in Session 4.

The original UVU Youth entry form listed the Youth Pre-Champ dances as Cha Cha, Samba, Paso Doble. This has been updated to Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba. The entry forms have been updated as well. Please plan accordingly.

2013 UVU Dancesport Festival Youth Entry Form

The entry forms for the UVU Dancesport Festival February 22-23 are now available. Please see the UVU announcement below:

The UVU Dancesport Festival will be held on February 22nd and 23rd.  The Festival offers events for teams and individuals of all ages and skill levels.  They’ve moved back to the PE Building Gymnasium, offering more seating and improved visibility for guests. UVU is pleased to announce that prize money will be offered to the first place formation teams and to the winners of the Adult Championship events.  Please mail entry forms so they arrive at UVU by February 15th.  Unfortunately online registration is unavailable because the UVU websites are currently under construction.  For more information, contact Chris Witt at wittch@uvu.edu or 801-863-6757.
