Gary McDonald announced that Amateur Cabaret final round and Amateur Latin events will be moved to today, Thursday (3/12/20) at 10:30 pm.
Gary McDonald announced that due to the high number of dancers who have not arrived yet for the competition, the Amateur Latin event will NOT be held on Thursday night.

On Thursday (3/12/20) afternoon, Curt Holman announced at the Marriott Center that the US National Amateur DanceSport Championships will conclude on Thursday, March 12, 2020. Friday and Saturday events have been cancelled.
Gary McDonald announced that Amateur Cabaret final round and Amateur Latin events will be moved to today, Thursday (3/12/20) at 10:30 pm.

The schedule is available for the 2020 United States National Amateur DanceSport Championships. The Championships will be held next week (March 10-14, 2020) at the Marriott Center on BYU Campus. You can find the schedule here:

Please see the update below from the organizers of the Wasatch Classic this weekend (Feb 15) regarding qualifying for USA Dance National Championships:
“We have great news regarding qualifying for USA Dance Nationals! After discussion with the USA Dance Dancesport Committee, they have a allowed a change in qualification status for Nationals. The requirements of placing high enough or attending 2 NQE’s has been lifted. Any dancer who competes in the Wasatch Classic will automatically be qualified for nationals in each event they compete in.
The late fee waiver has been extended through Wednesday, so sign up now and qualify to compete for a National Title!”
Note that entries are due today (Wednesday Feb 12) to avoid a late fee.

This competition is a National Qualifying Event for USA Dance. By participating in events at an NQE, dancers are eligible to compete at USA Dance National Championships held at the UCCU Center in Orem, Utah April 17-19, 2020 (http://www.usadancenationals.org/).
