Below is the schedule for the 2024 Freedom Open Dancesport competition this weekend (October 12, 2024) at American Fork High School. You can view the schedule with heatlists here:

The doors will open at 8:30 am and events begin at 9:30 am. Admission tickets are required for dancers and spectators and can be purchased online or at the door.

The registration deadline has been extended for the 2024 Pleasant Grove Invitational competition, held at the Pleasant Grove Valhalla arena on October 25 & 26, 2024. Registration is now due by October 16, 2024 to avoid a late fee. Online registration will close on October 20, 2024.

Also, several new events have been added to the competition this year:

• Several Solo Star Syllabus events for men and ladies in American, Ballroom and Latin for Elementary, Junior High, and High School ages
• Pre-Teen Novice Ballroom and Latin
• Syllabus Tango and Paso Doble for Junior High and High School ages
• Junior High Newcomer Swing
• Junior High Syllabus American Cha Cha (in addition to Newcomer CC)

The registration for the 2024 Pleasant Grove Invitational competition, held at the Pleasant Grove Valhalla arena on October 25 & 26, 2024, is now available. See the information below from the organizer:

“We invite all ballroom dancers and show dance formation teams to join together for friendly competition at the Pleasant Grove Invitational, held at Pleasant Grove High School on October 25-26, 2024. ACT INFO! If dancers are taking the ACT test on October 26 (Saturday of the competition), Pleasant Grove High School is a test location! Please register to take the test at Pleasant Grove High School.

Entries are due by October 12, 2024 to avoid a late fee.

After October 12 at 11:59 pm – each entry form will have a $10 late fee.
After October 19 at 11:59 pm – each entry form will have a $20 late fee.
After October 19, late entries will only be accepted if they do not create an additional round.

The registration for the 2024 Vita Dance Summit is now open!

The Summit is expanding this year to include Syllabus and Open dance camps, team events, and teacher/student events! The dance camps will be held Thursday, October 31 for Syllabus dancers and Friday, November 1 for Open dancers. Dance camps will be held at Gio Dance World in Pleasant Grove. The competition will be held at the Experience Event Center in Provo on Saturday, November 2, 2024.

The Schedule has been updated for the 2024 Beehive DanceSport Classic competition, held this weekend (September 20 & 21, 2024) at the Orem High School Fieldhouse. More schedule details have been added and a handful of event start times were changed slightly. The updated Schedule is available here:

Dancers should check the Schedule to verify the new event start times for all of their events. The schedule is subject to change. Dancers should always be ready to dance at least 30 minutes before their event. Dancers should also verify their entries on the Entries List.

PLEASE NOTE: this will be a cashless event. Only credit cards will be accepted for payment for admission, concessions, and the silent auction.
