About Casey and Kayci
Together, Casey & Kayci Treu hold six national titles and are National United States 10-Dance Champions. They are also World Championship 10-Dance Finalists, World Rising Star Latin Finalists, and consistent finalists in both Latin and Ballroom at competitions around the country. They compete professionally and train consistently with top coaches around the world.
Casey Treu started dancing when he was 7 years old. He is a two-time National Youth Latin Champion, National Youth 10-Dance Champion, and National Under 21 Latin Finalist. He also holds several National Latin and Standard Formation Championship titles from his years on the BYU Youth Formation Teams. When he was 19, Casey put dancing on hold to serve a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, in Accra, Ghana. During his four years on the BYU Ballroom Touring Company, he met Kayci Treu.
Kayci Treu started dancing when she was 4 years old, primarily studying classical ballet in the Vaganova style, Russian and Spanish character, and contemporary dance until she was 18. She began teaching at 16 years old, mentored by her teachers. While attending BYU, she fell in love with Ballroom, making it on the Touring Company after two short years. She was on the winning Blackpool Latin Formation team with Casey, and is also a two-time National Cabaret Champion.
