See the information below about a summer team for graduating high school seniors directed by Giovanna Velazquez. Auditions are April 7 at 4pm and April 28th at 1pm at DF dance studio in SLC.
This is a program for all those Seniors who would like to prepare for college and would like to continue to have a ballroom team experience. A lot of dancers graduate high school and would like to continue to be part of team, but their college or career choice doesn’t provide a Ballroom experience. Or dancers graduate but would like to keep up their dancing so they can have a better experience as they audition for teams at universities like UVU or BYU.
So we created a College Ballroom Summer Team which allows dancers to keep up with performance opportunities. It also includes a technique class with dances and routines they can use to audition for college teams. We also are planning to have guest instructors as part of the training, so it’s a really good opportunity for all dancers who would like to keep up their Ballroom skills.
